ACPA's Mission is to optimize team care for patients, and the ACPA Team Approval Process plays a major part in ensuring this mission becomes a reality. In 2018, ACPA marks 75 years of supporting individuals affected by cleft and craniofacial conditions and the providers who care for them. What began as a small network of doctors has grown into a multidisciplinary organization of 2,500+ members who represent more than 30 disciplines in 60 countries. A significant anniversary is an ideal opportunity to build positive image awareness for your work and ACPA.
ACPA Approved Teams are uniquely positioned to help educate their communities about cleft palate and craniofacial conditions, advancements in craniofacial treatment and care and about ACPA. We are excited to announce that ACPA has created new materials for ACPA Approved Teams, including a new logo for teams to use in their materials.
Each team coordinator will receive a packet of information this week that includes materials on how to publicize your status as an ACPA Approved Team, including the logo, wording and a Team Approval Certificate. We encourage you to use the materials as you talk to your patients about the quality of care they are receiving from your team. As always, please let us know if you have any questions about the new ACPA Approved Team Materials or about ACPA. You can reach me by email or by calling 919-933-9044.
