Reminder: ACPA Research Funding Applications due 2/1/2018

The deadline is quickly approaching—ACPA research grant proposals must be submitted by February 1, 2018 (online application link here).  Funding opportunities include:

  • Subtelny Speech Research Grant- one 1-year grant for $5,000
    This grant promotes research related to effective speech and language pathology treatment modalities and strategies for patients with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial anomalies. The grant is open to senior and junior investigators.  Priority will be given to clinical research, but basic research proposals will also be accepted.  
  • Subtelny Orthodontic Research Grant- one 1-year grant for $5,000
    This grant promotes research related to effective orthodontic treatment modalities and strategies for patients with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial anomalies. The grant is open to senior and junior investigators.  Priority will be given to clinical research, but basic research proposals will also be accepted.  
  • Paul W. Black, MD Grants for Emerging Researchers- two 1-year grants for $5,000 each
    The purposes of these grants are to develop young scientific investigators who are committed to cleft/craniofacial research and to encourage research on problems related to the diagnosis and treatment of cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial anomalies. These grants are available to junior investigators only.
