6th Pan African Cleft Lip and Palate Scientific Congress will be held in Nairobi Kenya from March 25-27, 2018.

The Venue will be at The Nairobi Hospital Convention Center.

We have organized a very stimulating educational experience with the theme of the Congress cleft care in Africa-present and the future-Setting Standards and protocols.
The congress will have a pre-congress live surgery workshop on March 25 2018 to be held at Nairobi Hospital main theater with live video link to the conference hall of the selected type of cleft patients. This workshop will only be available for those who will have separately registered prior. Details of the registration will be shortly on the website. Main congress will be on March 26-27 2018. We are lining up outstanding guest speakers who will give key note speeches in the plenary and moderate task force presentation and help run special workshop sessions.

The conference will focus on the main task force that will focus on surgical-basic concepts of cleft care, anaesthetic challenges, speech-language pathology, nursing and feeding challenges, dental and orthodontic treatment, and new technologies in cleft care.

There will be parallel sessions running concurrently coupled with plenary sessions where key note speakers will present an overview of the key topics and task force findings.

Abstracts are now invited for clinicians and researchers to present on all aspects of their work relating to cleft care, and submission closes on December 30, 2017.

On behalf of the executive committee of Pan African Association of Cleft Lip and Palate (PAACLIP) I invite you to attend our scientific Congress in Nairobi Kenya from March 25 -27 2008. The congress will attract over 250 professional and professionals in training. We are looking forward to this high level congress on cleft care organized in Africa and need support from keynote speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and those who can be part of the various task forces and help moderate. Nairobi, Kenya is known for its wonderful nearby national game parks and will organize safaris for those who want to visit the animals in their natural environment immediately after the conference or before. There will be plenty of activities for accompanying spouses or partners.
