Learn more about our new program: Preparing Researchers in Early Intervention for Children with Disabilities from Multicultural Environments (PRIDE).
The speech and hearing science program at ASU has been awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Education to prepare doctoral students as researchers and future faculty with expertise in early assessment and intervention for children with disabilities from culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) backgrounds.
Students accepted into PRIDE will receive a tuition waiver, stipend, health insurance and funding to attend professional conferences. They will take part in specialized coursework, webinars with national and international experts in CLD, research lab rotations, and professional preparation for faculty roles. This program is a collaboration between ASU and University of Arizona and faculty from both Universities will train and mentor students in research.
